OK, give me the logic behind your workout today. Your weights are so different from usual....I just wondered.

Keep on drinking that water haha.....after a while your in the bathroom so many times you just get use to it. :D

lol...yea, pretty light...the idea is that its 5 days out from the show, basically just enough of a workout to get the blood flowing so i could hit some poses, but not enough to make me sore for 5 days...posing is hard enough without having troubles walking.

Oh, OK my bad. I was overlooking this being your final week. I plan to skip my leg workout the last week but do everything else. I read in more than one place it takes 7-8 days for your legs to fully recover and muscles really pop more about 8 days after last leg workout.

So good idea doing what you did I would think.

Well...update time.

The weekend was pretty fun, ybw and i both put on a pretty good show, if i must say, we looked damned sexy up there ;)
Unfortunately i didn't place, but my condition was better and i'll be aiming to dial it in even more the next time i compete which won't be for quite a while *i'm just gonna be a cheerleader at the petoskey show for ybw, cause i'm one burned out pup* YBW took 2nd place in the masters and 4th in the men's tall division, he looked in great condition, we'll have to work on a couple of his poses in the next couple weeks to tune in the posing routine, but my tag team partner will be kicking some ass come april 26th.

Once again i just want to thank all of you for supporting larry and i during our contest prep, its been greatly appreciated and i wish all of you that will be competing soon the very best of luck.

Tomorrow is back to hard training and my strict lean gain, i will be posting that diet program tonight or tomorrow for input on how i could improve it.

and rachel dear...i'll talk to ya tonight hon, probably be around like 7 or so cause i'm going out to dinner :)

Good going Rob. Sounds like you had fun anyway. I admire your hard work for sure after going through it for the first time.

I've got my work cut out for me with this posing routine the guy put together for me. Has about 10 poses in the routine and I found the transitioning from one pose to another to be quite difficult yesterday. I can dance good LOL, but my legs want to get all crossed with all this stuff haha.

It's not easy. If it was only about getting the bodyfat down and the training/eating I would be fine. It is all the other stuff that makes this so demanding.....and I know all the hard work you put in.

Congrats and go enjoy a weeks worth of whatever you want to eat. Then back at it. :cool:

i'll tell you craig...posing is all about timing and practice, don't get caught up in the steps so much yet, do everything in slow-mo first, get the feel for the pose, understand how the muscles contract at various angles, etc...then begin to pick up the pace til you get the groove :dj:

thnx for the encouragement...i'm not one to take a week off though, when i eat crap i feel like garbage...for me it'll just be nice to eat clean around 3500-4000kcals, as opposed to that inhuman 1800 a day crap, never again will i be near that calorie range for a diet.

I hate to maybe..be a heavy or something...but I've never ever kept a journal for that reason. I know that after I die, someone will go in there and the first thing they'll do is go through the journal and find out all the sick **** I've done in my life. I mean, it'll be true, but in the history books in 500 years, they'll read the paper journal that lasted far beyond the dead latent images imbedded into then obsolete and impossibly complicated machinery after the fall of civilization in 2470. All that is left is the remnants of great societies and a journal. Huge, massive blown out structures, towering skyscrapers in cities reduced to 175 square miles of cemetary; far too radioactive, barren, dangerous and zombie ridden to dare explore. All that is left is your journal that a man named "Ignot' found on the outskirts of town one day before being chased away by a mutated hound. He later died of radiation poisoning, but he found your journal and will be ever lauded as a grand prophet.

Everyone in the past was a bodybuilder, ate certain foods every day, was Catholic and conservative. I was under the assumption that ninjas were of Japanese persuasion. Ninjas being of Japanese persuasion, no matter what actual nationality the ninja actually is, is far to Asiatic for my people to handle.

There is also little western influence in the culture of my people. My people shall be governed under the governmental structures of the classical civilizations. Besides paper, explosives, and Dim Sum, my people are not particularly exposed to much from that area of the world.


And they ALL hate the French. Thus dictates that my people are an intelligent rational people with a sense of justice and responsibility.

They shall be lead by the noble Ignot into an incredible free society, governed by the words and wisdom found in my journal.

What's the next step for you Rob? You looking to try to get to any certain size at any specific bodyfat? Diet looks good to me. Dang you. I'd rather have seen your meals when you were cutting. At least it wouldn't have made me so hungry :p

The pictures that were posted definitely revealed just how much progress you made in 1 year. Your strength is pretty impressive too with most all your lifts. Keep plugging away at it. No, **** it. Last time I didnt work through a sickness was when I nearly went blind two months ago because of the corneal ulcer. Time before that was a year earlier when I had food poisoning compounded with the flu. Other than that, head colds-sniffles, mumps, Asiatic Flu, I work right through it.

If I get other people sick and they stay home its just a testament to their lack of dedication. ANd it frees up the bench.

Narc...you are correct in number one, i took what i ate in macronutrients, multiplied them by their respective calories per gram to derive those numbers. As for number 2, that was a moderate carb day...i still need to tweak the diet though as the low carb days are making me crave too much junk food, when i get the new numbers worked out i'll post that.
