Kava Kava

What does/is Kava Kava supposed to do? My girlfriends mom is taking it; she heard that is supposedly helps in fat loss in the tummy.

It's mostly used as a relaxant or a sleep aid.

I like it personally. Helps me get to sleep.

I think it can also be used as a muscle relaxant...

I remember reading somewhere it can even cause paralysis in extreme doses!! :eek:
