Hostile Gym...

The Gym that me and Centaurion train in, is, well to said it carefully very hostile. Most of the trainers there are gangmembers or friends of them, and they do what they can to stir up a fight. Ive managed fine so far, but I was just wondering if its the same for you guys??

and my gym is cool as hell. for the most part people come into work out, and then they go home, after seriously working out. it's cool.

We got plenty, to many, but few of them are norwegian.

Yeah as Rock said, our gym is pretty hostile place. Sometimes the entire places is filled with wannabe gangster, trying to look bad. And often they do try to start a fight...
I don't know how long I can last before going postal on them. :D

YEAH, there are gangbangers and ghettos in Norway. Some places in Oslo are filled with those people.

And I wish I could say the same about our gym, but no. :( People only come to the gym just to relax. They sit around, chat and read the newspaper. Then they to a couple of reps, not even breaking a sweet, before wrapping up and going home.
Besides the music sucks. We don't have real training music like Rocky or something like that. All the time it's just R&B and trance...Soon people will start dancing in there.

oh...well i love training to trance so i guess i can't relate as far as music goes.....but i guess i've got a pretty good gym.

sucks that y'all have all that violence though. that's pretty bizarre.

Nothing wrong with training to Trance, Progressive house, etc.


Slipknot and heavy **** like it are the way to go though!!

Don't sweat it. Just get bigger than them and they'll leave you alone.

My gym is owned by one of the top amateur bodybuilders in Canada. He placed fourth in the heavyweight Nationals last year. It's pretty hardcore except for some people my age who just come in to talk. Nothing better than a basement gym with an industrial fan in the summer.
