Low fat dairy is a great source of protein and I eat a lot of it. I would eat dairy even if it wasn't a good source. And I don't have any lactose issues. So I'm wondering if it's bad to eat a lot of it?

Any thoughts?

if you're not getting fat, how bad can it be?

Lactose intolerance occurs because the body is not producing enough lactase, which is the enzyme required to digest lactose (milk sugar).

Lactose intolerance is a condition that occurs over a period of time, although there are other more specific diseases which can cause it as well.

One interesting thing that I ran across was that some cultures experiencelactose intolerance at an earlier age. The two links below have some good info on lactose intolerance if you want to take a look.:)
