View Full Version : Tomorrow I begin cutting....NEED HELP FAST!!!!

Tomorrow I will begin cutting....I plan to do this for 12-16 weeks depending on the results...heres my diet I will eat that everyday for the next 3 or 4 months...not a problem though....but I need help with my diet and macros and stuff....take a look at it and let me know what you think... Im 6"1 and 180 Lb....Iam a beginning bodybuilder so I think I might get some muscle on even though im cutting....

because Im skinny fat....most of my life I was fat....I mean really fat....On june 2002 I was 290 Lbs.....Then i began dieting but without weightlifting...(wish I had discovered it back then)...almost 3 months ago I began lifting...Iam making gains in muscle...but i would like to cut my bodyfat in order to begin bulking...and besides...i would like to see what my abs look like...at least once in my life....

cals a little too low

i suggest eating more, and lifting heavy and i think the overall result of such will do more for your physique at this beginning stage than anything else.

btw - i might substitute fish oil for flax in your plan.

I think I will up the calories to 2000 at least...about fish oil....here in venezuela we dont have any fish oil....I am taking fish oil caps....but I would have to take tooo many pills...like 20 a day....Other than that....do you think its ok??

Oh I forgot to ask you this....should I begin doing cardio....or should I wait at least a couple of weeks to see how the diet works on its own.??

How many grams of EPA/DHA are in the caps? I doubt that you would need to take 20 per day.

Since you are cutting cals I would hold off on adding in the cardio. I think waiting a couple of weeks would be a good idea and then once you get an idea of how much weight you are losing each week you can begin adding in some cardio.

EPA and DHA are the n-3 fatty acids that are beneficial to the body. All you would probably need would be ~6 caps per day, which should provide you with plenty of EPA/DHA to see the beneficial effects of fish oil supplementation.

I am taking 6 a day....2with my 2nd, 4th, 6th meal...with my 1rst and 5th meal I take 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds...and with my 3rd I have 2 tablespoons olive oil....that gives me my 65 G of fat per day...Or should I take a little less and expect to cover my needs with the rest of the food Im eating...??

The above sounds fine, as long as it fits within your daily calorie intake.

thx man....and yes it fits my calorie intake...now that Im all set...Bodyfat is going DOWN!!
