Here a mini journal counting down the days before the Pan Am's submission grappling tournament on Aug 23rd in Huntington Beach, CA.
It's my first one, hell ive only been doing brazilian jui-jitsu for 6 weeks so its all new to me.
I would like to be in the 160-173 weight class.
8-10
weights: deadlifts, chins, pulldowns, cable and t bar rows, bb curls, db curls, preacher curls. 10 sets for back, 5 for bis. right now im not maxing out on workouts, ill do anywhere from 12-15 reps, 8-10, 4-6. just mixing it up. the jui jitsu isnt that great for the weightlifting, but the weightlifting is good for the jui jitsu. I wish i was 20 again, maybe everything wouldnt hurt so much and take so much time to recover.

The PRIDE GP was on last night. That's a whole other story!
