Ok, I am seriously thinking in doing it (already bought 3 packs of bacon lol). My question is , how long does it take before the body start burning bodyfat ? I read in an article that it will take between 2-4 weeks before the body start burning bodyfat... also, since I am very afraid of the high fat/low protein diet and my show is in a month I'm gonna stick to eggwhite and olive oil only so at least it will be good fat and my carbs really will be close to 0g.

I'm pretty sure you will start burning bodyfat before that. I've done a mini tkd for about 3 weeks before and I liked it. You should try Udo's oil if you can get it...it's more balanced then olive oil.. 6 grams omega-3, 3 grams omega-6, and 3 grams omega-9 per tablespoon compared to the olive oil which is only rich in omega-9s i believe. Good Luck.

What's TKD? Obviously its a diet, from what i have gathered its low protein, high fat, low carbs? Am i way off here?? Also what does it stand for?

Moderate protein, high fat, very little carbs. With a TKD you take in a high GI liquid carb (No fructose) about 20g is it? I'm not too familiar with the numbers... before or after your workout.

But good observation, Yanick. It stands for Targeted Ketogenic Diet.

There's a specific calculation you can do and find out the right amount.
Lyle McDonald has suggested 5 grams for every two sets to be performed as a guideline. A person planning for 10 sets would consume 25 grams preworkout using these guidelines.

TKD in a nutshell...

75% fat, 25% protein all the time, but take 25-50g of glucose-based carbs pre-workout. Supplement with a multivitamin/mineral, calcium/magnesium, fiber and creatine.
