I've been on creatine for 2 months now so I'm sure my muscles are pretty well saturated with the stuff.

I was thinking - is it really necessary to take creatine 7 days a week? If I cut this back to 5 days / week (4 days after weights) would it make any difference in its performance? It would make a difference in cost. Thats for sure.

I remember reading somewhere that it takes about 30 days for the body to lose its creatine after halting usage.

I only use it on training days, 5 grams after the gym. (3-4 times a week)

I have noticed no difference using this regime to when I used it daily. ;)

You need to keep creatine in you body so id stay with 7 days a week at 5grams..

1-2g of creatine are excreted daily, so you should maintain with about 2g/day.

Don't worry about taking the 2-3 grms per day if youre eating enough red meat.
I usually take 5 grms every other day or just on my workout days.

I went from:
5g/day

to 5g right after workouts

to forgetting that I had a tub of the stuff...

I haven't seen a difference in my gains after I went off the stuff... but then again, I think I've improved my nutrition and workout/rest routine at the same time, so it wasn't exactly the only variable I changed....maybe its time to go back on the stuff... I do have all that powder left unused..

Just reading old topics.

Avatar, the creatine I bought has like 200 servings. That would last you 200 days not including the loading up stage....It's like $45-$50.
