What are the alternatives when you get a serious craving for sugary drink or food? The worse is sodapop, when I'm at work, I normally drink water as a source of beverage. During a rush; breakfast, or lunch, or dinner, I find myself craving for a serious sugar fix, so I sometimes have a half a small glass of sodapop to get rid of it. Worked everytime I did this. But I'm trying to cut it to no sodapop in my diet. At home, is a different story, what can I do?, I don't want to open a can and drink 1/3 of it.

this may sound weird, but it works very well for me, especially when cutting. every time i got a craving for junk food, sugary stuff(pop, candy etc..) i would just brush my teeth, assuming i was at home, works like a charm.

diet soda, fruit, i eat cott cheese w/ sliced bananas, a couple of sugar free hard candies

ocassionally i'll eat one of those candy-like protein bars (detour, uturn, promax) so i feel like my candy craving is satisfied
