What is a good way to get an estimate of maintainance weight with normal metabolism? Is it 13X bodyweight? Thanks.

Wait, I just read the post from fortifiediron about it, turns out it's 14-16. And I meant maintainence calories btw. I'm currently cutting with 12X bodyweight, but thinking about going down to 11. I'll probably stay though.

I agree, the formula is too high. In fact I have heard that gainign weight involces 15*

Just use this to see what your daily intake should be to maintain.

I also think yoru activity level determines this as well.

The general bodyweight formula for maintenance is ~15*bw, but this will have to be adjusted up or down, because the bw formulas do not take into account things such as activity level, metabolism, bf%, etc.

Adjusting your daily calories up/down in small increments would be the best way to determine your calorie intake.
