Thats an idea...what are we talkin here..shoulder shruggs?

Upward barbell rowing works good for my traps personally...

I got a smith machine.. maybe ill load the crap out of it and use the wrist straps for extra grip and have at it. Its one of my optional exersizes but I aint done it in a while. Thanks for the idea.

08-30-2003, 04:51 PM
I've used the machine too... just as good... really does build 'em..

Heavy shrugs are the way to go. I do the gripless variety (on a lever machine intended for calf raises), and after a couple of months, my traps have outgrown most of my other muscles.

If you do static holds during your deadlift workout, you may not even need to do anything else for your traps. Hope this helps.

bahahabaahaahhahaha lmao at the pic.

Wow! Lean and mean!

Very fit! That first pic looks like some of my inbred Florida cousins!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I am rather lean and always have been. If I lie real still I can actually see my heart beating just below my sternum or thats close to where the aorta runs. I dont need to feel for my pulse, I can just watch it. Ive been eating alot more since that pic in an attempt to add muscle mass. So alone with that has come a little bit of fat. Today my abs arent quite as defined as they were in that pic. But when im done bulkin, or tyrin too, I can loose that fat in a jiffy. Im havin a tough time gaining weight. My body seems to say " you will weigh 170....forever!" Thats how it seems to be so far. I might have gained a pound or two since that pic. Maybe 3. Ill stick with it though. Slowly but surely we'll see what happens.:D

Thanks again though really. The compliments surely inspire me to work even harder at it. :strong:

I have that same visual heart beating "problem".

I thought I was alone in the world.
