Just bought some Flaxseed Oil Capsules tonight.
Each pill is 1000mg.
550 mg alpha linolenic
170 mg linoleic acid
170 mg oleic acid
Question is: Are they worth taking? Or should I just take em back and get my money back. And if no; when should i be taking them? And how many? LOL

The answer is yes take the pills back and exchange them for Flax seed oil. The reason to get the same amount of good fats from the pills you'd have to take so many in a day it wouldn't be cost effective. The oil would definetly last longer. Hope this helps

Ya; I've heard that before. Just that I can't find flax seed oil anywhere. just flax seed oil pills.

flax seed oil caps = crap.
chances are higher that they will go rancid, rancid = lipid peroxides.
lipid peroxides = bad. very very bad.
take it back..get the oil. You can find the oil at most health food stores, organic markets and some grocery stores. probably not at GNC..but if you find a local healthfood store or supplement shop, you will definitely find it there. hell if you have smoothie stores that sell supps you can find it there too.

Another option is to just buy flax seeds and grind them up in a coffee grinder. (Just don't use the same grinder for flax and coffee.) They are cheap (I pay $1.99 a lb) and you don't have to worry about spoilage.
