Anyone else in the North Eastern U.S? I woke up to 26" of new snow this morning. The blizzard started yesterday at about 12:00 noon, and I got out of work early at 3:30. I live 7 miles from work and it took me just over 45 minutes to get home.(snow + city traffic = hell) So I get home at 4:15 and call Golds gym to see if they're open and find that they're staying open until 6:00. This is good because I took saturday AND sunday of and I just sucked down a 24 oz coffe with my wheat bagel and chicken, so I'm pretty fired up. So I get my stuff together and UNSUCCESSFULLY spend 30 minutes trying to get up my freakin road that has an incline so slight, it's barely noticeable. Anyway, I was pis$ed, so I decided to make the most of my time stuck in my house...I slept.

We have over a foot so far, but it just started last night. Still coming down very heavy. Even my gf's university was closed today - which is VERY rare.

Still nothing compared to the record 67 inches we got in my hometown when I was in school.

67 inches!? How far do you live from the north pole? Can you see it from where you're sitting right now?

Kat - did you get any of the New Years storm? I was in Montreal and it snowed all 3 days I was there.

lol ... I was in junior high at the time, and not a word of a lie, the school was buried in snow. We even had 20 foot drifts against our house.

Yeah, I know what you guys mean. It is 73 degrees in Dallas. I am wearing shorts and sandals. I don't know what to do with this weather in February. Might as well watch some movies and get the fireplace going.
