Wheaties
Corn Flakes
Reduced fat wheat crackers
Baked tortilla chips
Salsa



I eat wheaties sometimes for breakfast instead of oats

I eat the crackers sometimes with tuna

And I eat the tortillas sometimes with salsa as a snack during a game or with a sandwich or something...


Are these low GI carbs or what??

Are these ok sources for my diet?

I believe they would all be considered moderate/high on the GI index, except for the salsa.;) This does not necessarily make them "bad," and the GI index is not that big of a concern if you are consuming the foods with other macronutrients (protein, fat). As long as you are taking total calories into consideration I would not really worry about it.
