mstar,
Good Idea. Right after working out you need protein that is easy to digest for repairing of muscles. Wait about 2 hours then have your meal. Also if you can try getting a MRP or another supplement that has any where from 40-60 grams of carbs(with at least 20 grams of sugars) , 30-40 protein.

An MRP would be a good idea post workout, but it would be cheaper and more effective to just consume some whey along with high GI carbs post workout.

I think consuming a whole food meal ~90 minutes after your post workout shake would be beneficial.
If you wanted to train and then go to sleep then you could consume a preworkout shake that contains a small amount of carbs and protein, and then have a whole food meal immediately after training. You want to make sure that you have a slow digesting protein source before bed so as to provide aminos acids to your body during sleep.
Although I think the first approach would be better, but this would depend on your goals as well.
