what is the differnce between fish oil and flax seed oil, i looked at the back of the labels and it looked like they had the same omaga fatty acids.

You're right, they are both omega-3s. Flax oil contains alpha lenolic (spelling someone?) acid. Fish oil contains DHA/EPA. This is the good stuff. Your body can convert ala into DHA/EPA, but not very efficiently. When taking fish oil, no conversion is required. Stick with the fish oil if you can.
