Hey guys, I'm new here :) and a typical hardgainer - skinny guy. Right now, I'm thinking into buying TwinLab Gainers Fuel 2500 for my supplement (beside 3 meals a day).

What do u think about this product? Is it good? or bull****??
Anybody here can recommend a good weight gainer?

Thanks

Yeah, do NOT buy that crap. Not only is it worthless and probly tastes like $hit, but its got to many calories in it. Hell, even a half serving is probly to much for one sitting. I'd recomend you get the weight gainer that is most endorsed on this board its called "N-Large 2" made by Prolab. You can't go wrong with Prolab supps and this stuff tastes great. Per serving......

Protein: 52 g
Carbs: 87 g
Sugar: 27 g
Fat: 5 g

Here's a good website for a great deal on 10 lbs of it. http://www.dpsnutrition.com Hope this helped ya out some. ;)

thanks for your input spidey...

but, I really 'skinny' rite now =p around 120 lbs 5'7 -- and I thought the more callories I take the better??

How many calories are there per serving in N-Large 2?
And should I take it 3 times a day??

Please help...

Well, really skinny or not I"d say go with the N-Large. I don't believe your body could handly so many calories at once from the 2500 stuff. The N-Large has 600 calories per serving. Take that two times a day and eat a lot of whole food and you'll be good. But you gotta remember you wanna gain mass....NOT fat. Eat to much and you will get fat. Its that simple. ;)

if i can eat like every 3 hours a day of course I won't considering a weight gainer :(

I'm still an university student.... and live in dorm with a hectic study schedule... I just don't have the the luxury and time 2 eat every 3 hrs..

do u have some solution? or a recommended weight gainers product?

Figure out your goals. Get some dedication. If you really want to do it you will find a way to eat every 2-3 hrs.

Ok, I think I'm the only one in college and work that is able to sit down and eat every three hours. Look at some of these guys "meals" (in their journals or on this forum), head. They aren't true meals. It's not like christmas dinner. Chances are you can fit those things inbetween classes if you got more then five minutes. It's more a planning it all out the night before thing then anything else.

Hell, make a tuna (or chicken if you've got taste buds) sandwich and have it between classes. Pack a salad. Bring a protein bar. Or, like spidey said, pick up some N-large. I ain't got a clue on it myself, but everyone seems to consume them here (I need to get a life and stop reading people's journals.)

Also, do watch how many cals you put into yourself. Otherwise, like spidey (once again) said.. you'll just put on fat. And that just ain't pretty.

*applauds Nights for backin him up*

Oh, and by the way, I'm a senior in college and I do just fine eating 6 times a day. Hell, at the moment I only have a protein shake or two a day, its mostly whole food. So, I think if I, going to bed at 9pm nitely and having a full class load, can do it, so can you my friend. ;)

Same here, when i was in college,

i found out that tupperware can be your best friend too

hahaha

Usually just whip up some weight-gainer or protein drink from my blender in the dorms in the morning, put 'em in tupperware bottles, and I'm good to go for the rest of the day!

Nice name ya skinny bastard!

Listen to these guys. Try and eat 3-4 meals and then have a few N-Large shakes. You'll be 130 in no time! ;)

Thanks a LOT guys :)
All of u are a bunch of dedicated people.... wish I could be more like u guys :D :D

I will find some way try to prepare meals between class -- But I guess I will try to replace my 2 meals with N-Large 2. Is this good?

My Goal is 132 lbs... how long will it take?? if any of u got opinions...

There is no "Try" in this one bro. There is only DO! So.....prepare your meals the night before if ya have to. As for your goal weight, well, eat a $hitload and you could be at 132 by Thanksgiving or even sooner. (but you'll be fat). In any case you're gonna gain some bodyfat, but the trick is not to put on a bunch of it. I think you can get to 132 about by December or January if you work hard. Oh, and if you're doing a lot of cardio at the moment I'd cut it down if not stop it all together. ;)

N-Large2 by prolab is a great product. I'm also in college, at ASU we have cafeteria's, so whenever I go I'll take food with me like bagels or bread with peanutbutter and fruit to get up the number of times I eat per day.
