There is really no ideal macronutrient ratio, and the ratios would change according to your goal (cutting/bulking).
Basically your diet should include ~1g of protein per lb. of bodyweight, and adequate amounts of EFAs (~25% of your daily calories from healthy fats). The rest of your cals can be made up of carbs, although I would recommed trying different amounts of carbs and fats. Some people see better results with a higher carb intake, while others prefer more fat and lower carbs.

I find that if I get lots of my calories from healthy fats I have more energy. Lately I've been eating lots of salmon and nuts and I feel great. Healthy fats seem like something that is easily neglected. Well maybe cause I was neglecting them heh.
