the gnc sales people

any one else ever have these guys try to push there gnc brands on you? this seems to happen to me everytime i go in there on the first tuesday. it gets quite annoying.

hey joey, the reason they push a certain brand more than another is cuz they make a commission on certain products. i know this because i work at a GNC here in Tampa, Fl. when we sell the pro performance brand made by GNC we make a little bit more money. it really is no better than anything else.

yeah i kinda figured that, but it seems like it is always the same guy telling me how great the pro performance brand is. you think he would get the hint.

being a much loved sales assoiciate of GNC ill let you in on a few secrets:

1. pro proformance isnt that bad of a brand, its just that every supp company that has come out blows pro proformance out of the water.

2. as you may already know we at gnc make commision on most gnc sport supplements. so can you actually blame us for trying to push that brand?? i mean cmon if you made 10 bucks on gncs intact colestrum wouldnt you try to push it?

3. i hate the gnc assioates that great you as soon as you step foot in the door. i dont do that.

4. imo if you dont have a clue as to what supplements do what (ie. nitro tech=creatine and cell tech=protein) then i think that its ok for me to sell you some crappy product so i can make a buck.

5. we all hafta make a living too ya know.

6. if places like gnc and vitamin world wernt around, getting supplements would become a little more difficult.

I got no real beef with GNC. Actually, at the one nearby, some of the guys sound like they REALLY know what they're talking about, and I've seen a few down at the gym. But there are others (The weekend guys) who look like they've never lifted a plate in their life, and they talk about the great results they've gotten from taking 5,000 mg of glutamine a day......

Well actually, even if they didnt try to push it, i would still buy it, they got goo stuff. at incredible prices. Plus there chocolate meal replacement tastes amazing.. miam! Almost beats Tuna
