I don't know if anyone outside the uk is familar with guiness. It is an irish draught beer I was told the other day that drinking guiness makes u bigger and stronger since it contains plenty of iron. My mum's boyfriend claims whoever he knows who drinks this are as strong as ox's. Does anyone know anything which would back this up? If it is true than when I do decide to have a drink I will surely be drinking guiness :)

Drink it because it's good. The amount of iron in it is inconsequential if you're eating enough meat.

The only question is...
...spoon or fork? :p

Sorry, bad chunky soup reference. :(
One thing is for sure, drinking massive quantities of Guinness makes you feel smarter.
Anyway, have we heard of it? Guinness is like ambrosia. The nectar of the gods. Drink it up. Don't worry about the health benefits. It tastes goooood.

It's actually very popular in the states. (Although served cold.)
I would have to say that anyone who makes an excuse like this is just looking for an excuse to drink more beer. (Like anyone needs an excuse.) I'm sure it'll make you bigger. I know a lot of fat beer drinkers and like drew says you certainly feel smarter but it's not exactly part of a well balanced diet. (Nothing wrong with indulging now and then but I wouldn't make it part of my bulking plan.)

And from what I hear, fewer calories and fat than most other beers as well
