Greetings, fellow WBB'ers. As I write this, I'm sitting in my bed drinking a Natural Light. You might ask yourself, why in the hell would a bodybuilder be drinking at 12:13 in the afternoon on a weekday. Well, let's just say I've adapted well to college life. Having said that, what do I expect out of this journal? I honestly don't know. Last night I worked out for the first time in about two months, and it felt fantastic. I know that working out is not going to be a problem for me.

Dieting on the other hand, well that's going to be tough. I've been eating extraordinarily clean for a college student since I've been down here, but I've been drinking like a toilet. For now, I'm going to say my goal will be fat loss. I'm going to start running in the mornings before class to compensate for the drinking, because I know that not drinking is not an option. I won't be touching any pharmaceuticals until I know I'll be able to not drink, so it's pretty safe to say I'm not going to be doing any injections any time in the near future.

Anyway, I hope this journal is fun. Please feel free to spam the crap out of me and bullsh!t. I'm here to have a good time.

<killjoy>

less beer, more protein.

hate to burst your bubble man, but you're gonna find it pretty hard to drink beer on a regular basis and lose body fat at the same time. The morning cardio will definitely help, but my advice is that if you need to drink beer, save it for your next bulk.

Ok ok ok, I know I suck ass but I just had my first two college exams last week and I've been cramming. Now to appease all of you bastids, I'ma post a couple workouts. These haven't been terribly great as I'm freaking out of shape right now and I'm trying to show my roommate the ropes.

9/29

Cybex Overhead Press @ 50: 6, @ 60: 6, @ 50: 6
DB Front Raises @ 15: 6/6, @ 20: 6/6, 8/8
DB Lateral Raises @ 20: 6, 6, 6
Cybex Lateral Raises @ 8: 8, @ 10: 6
1 Arm Cable Shrugs @ 100: 8/8, @ 120: 8/8, 8/8

9/30

Bentover Smith Rows @ 50: 8, @ 70: 6, @ 90: 6, @ 110: 6

NG Pulldowns @ 120: 6, @ 140: 6
Cambered Bar Cable Curls @ 80: 6, @ 90: 5.5

I started to do some eliptical cardio today. Damn. I'm quitting smoking. That sh*t sucks. I've also stopped drinking on school days. I can't make college a full time party, and I don't wanna look like crap, so I think I can make this work. Again, sorry for the slack, but it's starting to come together.

Gah, this week has been hell. I have two portfolios due in my Composition and Seminar classes, a Political Science exam tomorrow, and my car has gone through absolute hell. I was taking the top down a couple of weeks and my friend put my guitar stand in the way and busted the back windshield out. $500 later I'm back in bidness. I took my ride to a stereo place to have my system finished, and when I went to pick it up, I found out they busted out the damn back windshield again. So now I have to get that sh!t fixed again. Oh, and I left my friggin' drivers license at a club.

And to top it off, my internet is down at home. I'm at the library right now giving ya'll the heads up. I think after tomorrow, stuff will have settled down and hopefully my internet will be up and running again. On the bright side, I'm at 174 right now from 180 when I started this journal. I've been doing great with the drinking and smoking, also. I was really irritable the other night because I wanted a cig and I snapped at some of my friends, but they understood and were cool about it. My cardio has been getting progressively better as well. I'll try and get some numbers up tomorrow after I have my exam and portfolio crap squared away.

Ok, ok, ok. I can't believe this thing is still actually here. Boys and girls, I'm back, for like the umpteenth time. Let's bring you up to speed...

I've moved out of the house I was living in previously, into one that my parents bought in Corpus Christi. It's much nicer than the place I was living before, so that owns. My new roommate and I have been working out consistently for the past 3 months or so, so I've been doing good! Yes, yes, I can feel the pride exuding from all 3 of you that will read this. Anywho, my diet has been relatively decent, and my strength is starting to come back. I'm definitely nowhere near my previous bests, but I gotta start again somewhere. I'm still fat, but I'm okay with it. I'm not going to go nuts over the vanity pounds. I just want to feel good about myself again.

So here I go again on my own. Goin' down the only road I've ever known. Like a twister I was born... wait, sorry. Okay yeah so I'm giving it a go again. Not that I haven't been in the past few months, but I know I've been neglecting my WBB posse, so I'm gonna try to hang out here again. I'm gonna try to get my roommate posting here too, so treat him with as much love as I get if he decides to join us.

Oh yeah, and I got a freaking dog! She's so cool. I'll try to stick some pics up of here soon.

Justin - It's just a brand of leg extension machine. The university gym has like 3 different kinds so I have to denote which one I use as they all have different increments of resistance. As far as I know, g4lil3orz hasn't invented his own form of leg extension, but if he has, I'll try it!

Man, this workout just about killed me. After the leg presses, I felt like I was going to pass out, and that carried over to every subsequent exercise. Not sure how I managed to remain conscious through the rest of the session, but I did, and I felt damn good when I was done. Jasper and I went to Sams last night and loaded up on meat for our upcoming diet. It looks like a butcher lives in out freezer. Totally sweet. HomeY - That will remain confidential for the month. I have a feeling if I just push myself with what I'm doing and keep it to myself til I'm done, I will see better results. I know it's all in my head, but it just seems to work better for me that way. Stay tuned, however!

Justin - Damns yeah! I'm psyched that ec quit and came back too, that way I don't feel like a total slug.

Moving right along! Tuesday May 18

Decline Smith BP @ 155 lbs: 4 +2, @ 135 lbs: 9 +1
Rope Pushdowns @ 60 lbs: 6, @ 50 lbs: 10
Galileo 1 hand tricep press @ 17: 4
Cybex Chest Press @ 160 lbs: 3
Dips +25 lbs: 4, +10 lbs: 8
15 mins on eliptical trainer

Felt like a pretty good day. I was pleased with my strength on the smith presses, and then I cashed out pretty soon after that. I'm not stressed about it though. I have a feeling it's because of the routine change, and my body will adapt hopefully within the week. Either way, this could be the start of something big, behbeh.

Diet Today

Meal 1: 10 FOC's, 1.5 scoops whey, Multi-V
Meal 2 (PWO): 1.5 scoops whey
Meal 3: Low Carb tortilla, 8 oz chicken breast, 1/8 cup cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp salsa
Meal 4: 1/3 lbs. ground beef, 1 tbsp Frank's Red Hot Buffalo sauce, 1/2 tbsp ranch dressing
Meal 5: 1/2 cup rice, 8 oz chicken breast, 3 tbsp Franks Red Hot Buffalo sauce, 1/2 tbsp ranch dressing
Meal 6: 1.5 scoops whey, 10 FOC's, 1 cup skim milk

Cals: 1988
Protein: 251g
Fat: 79g
Carbs: 79g

Diet felt great today. I miss eating so often, I never feel hungry, and everything I ate today tasted great. I'm gonna bump up my cals to 2200ish I think, probably just adding some dextrose to my shakes. Other than that, I like what I've got going. I gotta stick to this for the month.

I woulda been around 2300 with the last FOC's, so I decided just to drop them. Since everyone has been saying 20 is too many, I'm gonna knock it down to 10 a day, 5 in the morning, 5 at night. I'm doing high-reps on the hypers as they're a relatively new exercise to me, and I want to get comfortable with proper form before I start going into the heavy range. Plus, I need stamina for sex0r.

Felt like a pretty good day. Tried to change up the routine a bit by incorporating some new exercises and techniques. The preachers with the band were painful as hell. I tried doing heavier weight on the incline pullovers, but my left rotator cuff started acting up. I really want to find a kickass lat blaster exercise, but nothing really seems to target it well. The lat pullover machine I used in San Antonio owned ass, but I haven't found anything close to it down here in Corpus. Ahh well.

k, had a really cool weekend. Friends and family came for the weekend, went to the A Perfect Circle concert which rocked, and did not break diet in the least. Damn, that was tough. Everyone wanted me to get drunk, and god knows I wanted to as well, but I fought it off. It was really a willpower test, and I'm glad to say I passed with flying colors. Good for me! I also started summer school this week. I'm only taking one class this half: The Psychology of Drug Use and Abuse. It's proving to be quite interesting. Anyway, enough with the foreplay.

Training:
DB Lunges @ 50 lbs: 6, @ 45 lbs: 10

Slooooooooow Rep Calf Press @ 270 lbs: 6, @ 260 lbs: 10
Hyper Extensions +45 lbs: 16, 20

Damn. This was some good training. Lunges felt pretty easy. I hadn't planned on going as heavy as I did with the leg presses, but jasper called me a fag and told me to do it so I did. 450 was heeeeavy. I didn't think I'd be able to squeeze out 2, but I suprised myself and got 4. Calf presses felt excellent. I'm actually seeing calf development now. I'm pumped. The hyperextensions are always the worst. They make me so dizzy but I feel them annihilate my hams and lower back. I couldn't believe I irked out 20 on my last set. I was dead upon completion.

Patrick - Fitday is the only way I can accurately keep track of my diet. Even if I try doing it on paper, I can't remember the caloric value of a lot of my meats, so my guesses are a little off, and over the course of a day, that can make my guesstimated total a few hundred calories off my actual intake. And a few hundred calories is pretty damn important :/

I still have miles and miles ahead of me, but I definitely look better than I did. The funny thing is I haven't really lost any weight, but I've gotten stronger and my definition is up. Can't complain about that. Since I've been doing so good lately, I've given myself a cheat meal today. General Tso's chicken and fried rice, baby. Oooooh yeah.

Calf Press @ 290 lbs: 6, @ 280 lbs: 10
Hyperextensions + 45 lbs: 25, 20

Pretty good training day all-in-all. The hyperextensions absolutely killed my lower back. Good stuff. Halfway through my first set on leg press, I ripped ass. I kinda had the feeling I was going to even before starting the set so I tried to make sure everything was calm in my gut, but it didn't help. It made for much laughing.

w00t, had us a party this weekend. Had lots of people over and much fun was had. Also had 2 girls hitting on me, very attractive ones I might add. I'm so teh sexsay.

Monday June 28

Exercise:

DB BP @ 70 lbs: 3 +1, @ 60: 5
Incline DB BP @ 55 lbs: 5
Weighted Pushups @ 35 lbs: 15, @ 25 lbs: 10
Hammerstrength Dips @ 18: 3/6
Nautilus Cable Flyes @ 110 lbs: 8, @ 95 lbs: 8

Not a bad lifting session at all, considering this weekend. Diet obviously wasn't great as we were partying, but I'm pretty sure today was the first time since I've started lifting that I've used 70 lbs DB for benching. 'twas a good feeling.

Diet:

Meal 1: Low carb tortilla of gheyness, 3 oz steak, 1/8 cup shredded cheese, 2 cups skim milk, 5 FOC's, MultiV.
Meal 2 (PWO): Detour bar, 1 cup skim milk. (My shaker grew something with eyes over the weekend)

if it makes you feel better, I'm still working on pushups, so props are due where credit is due.

Stash - I appreciate the kind words. Trust me, I was where you're at not long ago at all. Most of my life, I wasn't able to do a pushup with proper form. I've always been teh fat kid :/ It's just these little things that really show us how we can better ourselves as long as we're trying our damndest.

Solid session Mr. Moses. Keep up the good work.

It's always nice to be hit on, especially by attractive girls.

I came here in hopes of getting my free money and free sex and so far I haven't gotten either! I guess the fact that you were drinking a beer at 12:13 in the day makes it ok though. I'm so proud. :)

Nice job on the workout! :spam:

Justin - I ate more, just forgot to fill in the rest of my meals. I think the daily cal total came out around ~2300. The concern is much appreciated ;)

wibble - Haha, that's how I lure you in! Thanks for stopping by and the kind words.

An unwashed shaker is a force to be reckoned with.

Wow.... 4th of July. Just... wow. Suffice to say I had a good deal of fun this weekend. I broke my toe, however. Also starting my second half of summer school. Suck.

I wanna know the story of how I broke my toe! I woke up Sunday morning, rolled outta bed, and fell down. Nobody remembers how I did it and neither do I. Don't you hate when that happens?
