I don't have all the money in the world for the expensive stuff. So I buy value whey and a precision protein by Vitamin world. Is this stuff significantly inferior to ion exange whey?

Choices are made by us all every day when it comes to purchases.

My opinion, expressed elsewhere in other topics regarding Whey is that you can end up paying more than you should for a few % more either in protein % or potential and possible gains.

Lets make it easy. You buy a 2 pound tub (80-85% protein) of the most expensive blend. In the UK it cost you £30.00 ($45.00). It has caesin and whey concentrate and a little Isolate.

By prolabs (or simliar) 5lb tub of flavoured (80% protein) Concentrate and pay £30.00 again.

By mine and yes I'm biased and your £30.00 will buy you almost 6 kilos/12 pounds. Mines 75% protein.

Do your maths, look at the %, check what the main protein ingrediant is and make a decision.

Vitamin World Value Whey...I buy that. It's about 75-80% protein and $30 for a 5 lb. tub. Of course I get like two tubs for $20 plus some creatine, but hey, who am I to talk ;)

I think your'll find with all things considered that Prolab's 100% whey is a piss poor 68.75% protein...which is pretty much the lowest protein content of any of the major brands, although it does taste nice! ;)

i would buy just whey concentrate if you want whey (it has fat and lactose in it), or preferably i'd get a blend of several proteins.
