does it matter how the carbs are broken down? I mean I find it hard to get all 330 grams of carbs in my diet a day. Sometimes im lobsided with the amount of carbs in each meal because i am trying to reach that goal.

It does not really matter, as long as you are in a calorie surplus at the end of the day. Although I would recommend making sure to take in carbs around your workout, but otherwise it will not matter, assuming adequate protein and EFAs.

drink them if necessary

and why not take in a bunch with a pre & post w/o shake

Well I take about 50 grams with my Post shake. With some malto and dex.
