View Full Version : What about the Cardio??

I see most people's weekly schedules mentioning the body groups they intend to perform weightlifting with... but do you guys do any basic cardio activites on those SAME days?

How about on the off days?

I'm just trying to find a balance between doing cardio and weightlifting without overtraining myself.

Any input is appreciated :)

I've started running a mile or two on off days or after upper body days. But I'll always start with light cardio, never more than 10 minutes, on leg or back days just to get the blood flowing.

I'd say a key to cardio if finding a time for it that doesn't detract from your work outs. Off days seem to work well.
