what's up guys I wonder if anyone here can tell me if the canadian version of z-mass is the same as the american. I have been using the american version for 1 year and have mayb excellent progress, but I recently baught the canadian version an the label is quite diffirent . Here is the diffirence .

us label:
zinc 30 mg(aspartate)
magnesiam 450(in the form of aspartate)
vitabin b 6 13 mg
potasium in the form of (aspartate)
and all the other 20 hydoxy etc ingredients.

canadian label :
zinc chelated 30 mg(hpv) hydolyzed vegetable protein
magnesiam chelated 450 mg (hpv) hydrolyzed vegetable protein
vetamin b 6
and all the other ingredients

I know that taking that zinc and magnesiam in other forms are is crap like gluconate etc right next to aspartate . I know from experience and I wonder if the canadian version of z-mass is the same as the zinc and magnesiam they sell at the the vitamin stores or is it the same form of aspartate with a diffirent label.
The reason I ask is because I baught 5 bottles of the canadian version and I would like to know if I would get the same results. I would really appreciate an honnest answer . thanks in advance .

Great forum by the way I just joined here and it looks like a very informative forum .

wellt he aspartate from what I understand is just what it's chelated with.

perhaps it's the same thing, but in the US you ahve to specify what the chelating agent is, and in Canada you don't?

(incidentally chelation means to wrap a mineral in a protein so that it can be more easily digested)

gluconate and aspartate are both chelating agents.

oh and the mag seems a lot lower then a should be.

thanks what you said makes perfect sense and I kind of thought why would cytodyne technologies change the z-mass formula sinse all the ingredients in the american version z-mass are all legal in canada . And by the way I kind of did a mistake on the magnesiam dosage before I meant to write 450 mg's and not 30.

yeah for basic minerals that wouldn't make sense to change the formula...i think it's just a matter of labeling. glad i could help.
