im 17.. today my girlfriend's dad died... and it was also her sisters birthday today to. it hit them all hard. and me and my girlfriends one month is tomorrow. i feel so bad for her and i dont know what to do. i like her alot and i know i should let her be and let her know im here for her if she needs it. but i dont know what else i should do, ive expressed how much im here for her and i like her and all that. i guess time will heal her... her sister is also crushed because it happend on her birthday and there little brother won the champion ship for basketball today... it kind of sucks her dad coudlnt be there for all of this. he was only 41 and died b/c of something in the stomach... they think doctors prescribed him wrong.. do u know of anything else i should do.?

I'd let the family take some time for themselves. If you've already told your girl friend you're there if she needs you then I think you've done all you can at this point. Losing a family member is a major thing for a person. She'll probably be looking to her family for support over her boy friend of one month. I wouldn't take offense if she doesn't turn to you.
