If PB is a good fat, why do I hear people say it is not a good fat source while cutting? All my fat comes from at least 5 Tbsp of it. Is anything wrong with that?

depends on the pb. If its natural pb, then yes it is a good source of fat. If it is JIF or something similar, then no its not a good source of fat.

There is nothing wrong with pb, but it is not really a good source of EFAs. I would recommend taking in some sort of omega-3 fatty acids, which can be accomplished by supplementing with fish oil, flaxseed oil, or eating oily fish (salmon for example).

Peanut butter is a good source of fat, but there are much better choices out there, such as the ones mentioned above (n-3s) and then olive oil would be an excellent choice, as far as monounsaturated fat is concerned.

I do include the fish oil in my diet but I love the stuff so I get all my fat from it when I don't eat fish.

i think people just cut it out during cutting because its an easy way to reduce calories a lot without change the volume of food very much

Well I am doing doing like 30 % which allows me to eat more fat. On refeeds though I do not eat it at all.

I understand, but peanut butter does not contain a significant amount of n-3 fatty acids. I would recommend taking in fish oil everyday, for a variety of reasons.

Also getting all of your fat from peanut butter will give you a high ratio of n-6:n- 3 fatty acids, especially since you are not taking in any significant amounts of n-3 fats.
