Low body fat level, but at 5'11" you could stand to pack on about 20 more pounds of mass .... at least.

Nice abs & a'aight chest, but your arms & back need work.

Keep lifting bro,

Keep trainin man & you can get there.

I kinda figured you had smaller legs too. Do you squat? If not you need to bro. I hardly ever worked my legs, & I was the type of guy that walked around with like 17" arms & tiny lil legs haha. Now that I powerlift on a collegiate level, I cant stress how important squatting is to achieving that perfect body. Squattin helps make everything else on your body grow. Dont ask me to give you the details, cause all I know is that it helps to release more Testosterone. I got A LOT bigger once I started squattin & trainin the hell outta my legs.

You look good. If you train hard, I gaurantee you'll be a straight stud in about 2 years!!! The ladies love muscled-up guys a lot better than toothpicks ;). You set a good goal, so keep reachin for it!

We're the same height, but I weigh 198. Sometimes I get up to like 210, but I always cut down to 198 to stay in my weight class. You definately got me beat on the body fat though. You can only see my top 2 abs & thats only under good lighting. Geusstimating, I'd have to cut down to like 185-188 to have the chiseled look you have.

I'm somewhere in between, I don't have bulking, cutting cycles really, I just train heavy and try to eat a lot and do a lot of cardion, causing the lean look. Another reason I don't gain weight as fast, then again I don't really want to, what I do now works for me, and I'm fine with it :)

Eh, abs are the only thing I cared about, but now that I got them up to the point where i want them, I'm doing the rest of the body, hah. But hmm.. here's my routine, it's not the best but it works for me:

Mon. Biceps/Abs
Tue. Shoulders
Wed. Triceps/Abs
Thur. Chest/Abs
Fri. off
Sat. Back/Legs/Abs
Sun. Start again.

It doesn't always fall on the same days but you get the idea.
Cardio-wise, I play basketball, that's my cardio. Couple of hardcore games of basketball whenever I can, usually 3 days a week. And diet.. I try to eat clean as much as possible, that's pretty much it. (I ate ice cream last night :( )

For abs I recently started doing weighted / non-weighted sets of
crunches (3 sets of 15 reps with weights, and 3 sets of 15 reps
without weights) and leg-raises (4 sets of 15 reps with weights).

Every other bodypart varies, depends on where I work out, if at home it's the usual dumbell/ez-curl bar excersizes, if at the gym, then barbells, machines and cables.

What exactly do you do for weights with your crunches? Put unfolded ankle weights on your chest or something? Or do you use a machine?

Big J
10-30-2003, 03:49 PM
Dang dude, the newer pics give your chest more justice. Can really tell you've been workin out. You might wanna add lat pulldowns, deadlifts, shrugs, & wide-grip chins to your back workout if you dont already. You get a wide back & add about an 1" to your arms you'll be set bro. I wish I could get my body fat that low. Geuss I'm gonna really have to dedicate like 6 months to cuttin.....

Good Luck,
J

No offense meant but if you are wanting to get your back and stuff bigger, doing it with legs at the end of the week ain't the way to do it. Your going at it ass backwards. You put priority on the things that need to most work. Putting them off and combining them other stuff won't help too much.

DavidtheDuke

I'm experimenting, and switching the routine if I feel necessary everytime, it's just that at this point that's what my routine is and for me it works, thanks for the 2 cents though :)

If your body fat is low, I would recommend getting Lipoderm Ultra instead. Ab-Solved is for the fat around your organs not the fat layer between your muscles and skin. Ab-Solved is more for us piggys. Ultra is for people trying to get rid of the last amount of stubborn fat.

Your abs are awesome for sure. Why do you need Ripped Fuel? You need to gain some weight....not try to lose more. You have an excellent frame to really look great if you gain another 15-20 pounds correctly.

Eh? Oh well I just ordered it last night - I suppose if it doesn't work I'll just get the lipoderm - the ULTRA version should be around by then. I'm not gonna use this Ab-solver though until I'm getting very low on bf and still can't notice a difference in the abz

Eh, well my average days consists of usually bowl of Oatmeal, with bannanas, for breakfeast or if I'm not really hungry, I just drink 3-4 raw egg whites, and have a bannana.
If I get hungry between lunch and breakfeast, I'll eat a can of tuna or something. Later on I probably have some omlet with veggies, with few glasses of water for lunch. Have a couple more snacks like a fruit salad and handfull of almonds, then a chicken gyro.. (god I love those things, I know a place in the city that makes the best chicken gyros I have ever ate!), Then after a workout I always have a bannana and a shake (Myoplex / 42gm protein / 20 gm carbs),
For dinner I'll have a plate of brown rice or mashed potatoes with roast beef or grilled chicken and a salad. Then after dinner when I get hungry I just raid the fridge, see what's left, haha.. I'll have a bowl of cereal or a few glasses of kefir (www.kefir.com)

It's really good here is the nutrition chart for kefir :

Nutrition Facts
(Serv. Size 1 cup (240ml) ):
Calories - 110
Fat cal - 20
Total Fat - 2.5g
Sat Fat - 1.5g
Cholest - 10mg
Sodium - 125mg
Total Carb - 8g
Fiber - 0g
Sugars - 8g
Protein - 14g
Vitamin A - 10%
Vitamin C - 4%
Calcium - 30%
Iron - 0%
Vitamin D - 25%

And yeah I try to drink a lot of water durring the day, especially durring workouts. :)
Hope that helps.

P.S: Sometimes I'm not lucky to eat as much in one day due to being busy the whole day, sometimes I'll only have lunch, dinner and a few snacks in between. I also do cardio.

It's topical - yep - you rub it on. Avantlabs.com has information up the wazoo on this, and AvantLabs seems to have a good reputation for being scientific and RESULT driven instead of only profit driven. Their forums are hardcore serious - just read their intro in the forums hehe

About protein.. eh, I can't stomach anymore protein, otherwise I wouldn't be able to move, haha, whatever I have now I feel is enough for me, I'm not big so I can't eat a lot.

Antek, about your height and weight do you feel you look real skinny with clothes on? When I was around 150-160 at 5’7 people would always tell me I was too skinny. I also had a six pack, not as ripped as you though and about 17 inch arms. However, people would not know my condition unless I actually wore a t shirt or other tight fitting cloths. I got pissed off a lot about the, “you’re too skinny comments”.

Also, what size waist you have? I had 29 ½ but now am at 36.

Maybe that was more when I was at 160-170. I did not care much for measuring back then. Nevertheless, yes they were big. Those were the day I has a sudo curl jockey and used 75 pound on each hand.

Gali why are you out of uniform? I think I have promoted Andre too much to so I may change my avatar too.

Off topic. What position should the light be to get the best picture possible? I saw pics on another board were the member showed some pics in black and white and lots of shadows and he looked huge. When people started saying it was not him he posted another pic but it was without special lighting. Although he was in good shape and it was obvious he was not as huge as in the pic. I think you are in far better shape then him and am wondering how you would look in similar lighting and shadowing. I would post pics of the guy but the picture he posted to clear up the allegations included a pecker shot.

Heh, thanks man I'll need it, I have a couple of months to bulk up.. hopefully I'll gain 10-15lbs, which makes it harder is I cut/bulk at the same time, because in the industry if I get bulky and lose the definition I won't be getting booked as much or even at all.. so I don't wanna take a risk, you know what I mean :)

No doubt, it's all about maintaining the proper look and if the look 'aint there, the bookings 'aint going to be there.

So when is your trip? i thought the height of catalog season was, like, now. November/December time frame spilling a little into Sept. and Jan. depending on the publishing schedules. I know we have casting going on in Miami this month for our Tarzan show since we have such specific body types and skills for most of our roles.

Oh I'm not going for castings, I'm probably going to meet a photographer (in a few months, like dec/jan) , and maybe he can introduce me to some of the people in agencies there in FL. I get enough castings here in NY, such a pain in the ass. lol.

Your traps are developed very well.I would do dumbbell shrugs and rear flys.Just remember its not how much weight you use its how you do it.squeeze at the top like when you do your abbs.
If you ever went to the dark side you would look jacked. If you just did a prohormone stack that might be all you need to fill in a little.

The last time I stuck to it for three years and benefited from the newbie gains. This time I am doing it to stick to it for a life time. Anyway, here are my stats-

Age 27
Height 5’7
Weight 183
Neck 16 ¼
Chest 42
Arms 16 ¾
Forearms 13 ½
Waist 35 ¾
Thighs 25

Thanks for the lighting tips that really helped out. I want to be able to take full advantage of this when I get the you know whats to post a picture. The pictures I saw in the other board had the guy lowering his head so the face would not show up. I am not sure if he did this because of the effects you mentioned on eyes or because he did not want to show his face. Then again, why would he be afraid to show his face if he posted a full shot afterwards with his wiener out.

Some of the scenes were so amazing. I knew the ending though so it kind of sucked for me, but I saw it on IMAX so it was awesome.

I don’t cycle and have gone about 7-8 months straight now. My goal is to lose weight though. I started off at 250 pounds and am trying to get to 6% body fat at 185. I still need to drop anther 20 more pounds before I focus on muscle gain.

I also saw Kill Bill and that was real good. I loved every minute of it.

Prohormes is legal so thats natural enough for me and they work very well.I like dumbbell shrugs because you get a better range of motion and you get a better squeeze at the top.I like doing higher reps then heavy weight. I see alot of dudes at the gym use way to much weight and they don't get that squeeze at the top. They cheat there selves.

Damn dude.....are we a bit cocky? I guess you never heard of a bulking cycle. When I am trying to bulk up, it is hard to stay perfectly lean and razor sharply cut. It is much easier for me to gain muscle by eating what I want with the exception of fast food and junk food. You must take into consideration that your stomach and obliques are very nice, but the rest of your body (arms, chest width of back, and legs) are very small. This is not to burn you but to be honest. Not everybody has matabalism that works as fast as yours. Besides, if you were truly concerned about health....you would't be a smoker.

Hmm.. What the hell are you talking about? where does cocky comes in, I simply replied a few tips on what to do.. please enlighten me. I said earlier in the thread (but you were too busy going through just the first page and last) that since I model I have to stay within a certain weight limit.. which is why I don't do cutting /bulking, but rather both at the same time.

you say you play basketball but your legs arent devoloped?(Usually all the jumping gets em pretty jacked, mine are and i never done leg muscle exercises in my life(32 inch vert)) I am about the same height and weight as you buddy, but you have so much more upper body muscle i dont think i wanna see your legs- actually i do, lets get a legs picture just so all of us will shutup about them :)

I wonder what would happen if i ever did situps... My abs are about the same as kirman?'s avatar on page 4... but i dont do situps at all- how long did it take you to get a nice 6 pack?
Basketball is a good cardio that's all, it's not a workout for your legs man, I have a good jump, I don't know how long but I jump higher than most people who are taller than me, but that's all it is. Don't do situps, nobody ever does them correctly, do crunches and leg lifts. I don't have the camera anymore, otherwise I would have taken a leg shot, next time I guess. :)

If I were you I'd forget about a modeling weight limit for 5 or 6 months and put on some weight, then do a cut. Otherwise your just going to go in circles trying to bulk and cut at the same time, because it doesn't work.

If your not interested in gaining muscle, you don't have access to a bench(which means you don't go to a gym), why post these pics on a bodybuilding website?

Hmm.. at first. this is my everyday life, you don't get. I can't bulk up unless I drop everything and move to alaska or something.

second, I posted because I still workout, how does not having a gym membership cancel me out of having to post my progress on here? and as you can see I clearly did make the progress.

A gym membership has nothing to do with it. Where do you workout if you don't have access to a bench? Most ppl that workout at home have a bench, I was assuming you don't lift very much when you said you didn't even have access to a bench.

I probably lift more than you, I live in an appartment, and yes I workout there, and I have no space for a bench, I substitute it with pushups, incline pushups, dumbells flyes off the couch, several other excersizes. I know how my body works and I know what I have to do.

First, I was just curious as to what usable advice you were looking to get here- everyones advice is going to be bulk, but your not interested in getting bigger or adding mass, so what's the point? I'm sure you wanted everyone to say, wow nice abs. Most people here aren't interested in weighing 155 so they can have nice abs. I don't appreciate you remarks at all when all I was asking was what type of responses were you looking to get besides nice abs, since you aren't interested in using anyones advice. I understand you want to stay a certain look, but that can be attained through bulking then cutting.

Second, I don't care what you lift, or how much you lift. I doubt you are very strong if you don't have anything but a set of dumbells, but that's beside the point. I can guarantee you this though, you won't get much stronger without adding mass.

I don't have an attitude towards anyone. All I asked was what type of advice he was looking for because he doesn't want to do what the majority of people would reccomend. Then he starts spouting off about how he can lift more than me blah blah blah:rolleyes:

HahnB -- if you are like me at all you are more than alittle jealous of Antek which may have carried over into your post more than you meant.

Antek -- Keep doing what ever you are doing. If you do want to look bigger like the picture you posted than I would up the calories alittle each week. A gym would help but then you have done an amazing job at home. I do have one question. Do girls ever come up and just ask you to dinner?

Jealous, of what? I have a 6 pack that I am more than satisfied with. I like the "thicker" looking 6 pack much more than the emaciated look.

Reason to post was to show people the progress I've made within the 4 months since I started working out. Few others have emailed me to post more because they felt inspired and started hitting the gym themselves. That's it for responses.

HahnB we all have six packs. Now better question is how visible it is. I also think you came off a little as player hater. The guy has a nice body and should be commended for it. His current condition may no fit the criteria we hope to achieve, but it is still excellent.

Now, do not worry about his six-pack being better then yours. You know you have him beat with your arm and leg size. That also counts for something no?

I'm not one to knock anybodies hustle. I agree he has a very lean body, no doubt. I was just curious as to what usable information he was looking for. He said he wanted to attain the figure of a picture he posted of a guy probably 220lb at 4%. The only way in hell a 155lb person has a remote chance of attaining that body is by a series of bulking and cutting phases- and probably anabolics depending on genetics. He said he isn't going to bulk, therefore I was trying to convince him that it's the only way to go.

Bryan

Antek might even be considered 'big' by normal day to day people. I've been bulking for a few months now, and gained about 25lbs, my first sucessful bulking cycle and now people are telling me how big I am, how huge my arms are. And when I compare myself to most of the guys on this board and others. I'm a puny runt lol. 15in arms and 186lbs.

Anyhow looking good Antek, I plan to start cutting once I hit 195-200lbs seeing as how I stayed pretty lean during this bulk.

And btw take another look into squats, deadlift also. These two lifts helped me out more than you can believe.

Hi man! great look!!!
that's exactly the body I want!!!

please could you describe your routine a bit more which exercises, reps, weight, frequency...etc

thanks

Yo, what's up again, figured, instead of posting a new thread, I'd revive the older one.. a small update, I have been sick for about a month or so, could not eat anything at all, and couldn't excersize, which eventually led to weight loss, but I'm back, trying to get my (not that it was a lot) mass back, and then some.
Here's the most recent pic of my skinny self, I just started working out again last week.

Between Brad Pitts figure and the guy you posted in this therad there is quite a huge difference in muscle mass. I would personally say, as many others have on this board, that you have surpassed that of Brad Pitts figure. Perhaps a goal figure between the two would be better.

Yeah...the thing that blows about a fast metabolism is that when someone like you gets sick, you burn all that muscle you worked for.

Not for guys like me. I guess a slug's metabolism is good for something.

Oh, and though I am loathe to praise your low bodyfat, I will say that your goal of Brad Pitt's physique in Fight Club is idiotic because you've far, far surpassed it. I'd go for more like a Frank Zane if I were you.

No offense meant but if you are wanting to get your back and stuff bigger, doing it with legs at the end of the week ain't the way to do it. Your going at it ass backwards. You put priority on the things that need to most work. Putting them off and combining them other stuff won't help too much.
how does doing abs at the end of your leg workout effect your leg workout?

Jesus, Diego.

Abs at the end of a leg workout? What are you talking about? The post was about doing BACK with legs, and how putting two major muscle groups on the same day was counter productive. I think.

BTW abs at the end of a leg workout would have no impact on the leg workout whatsoever. Even though I dont know the impetus for asking such a question.

I dont think working every bodypart to complete exhaustion 5 times a week would be productive. Certain lagging bodyparts are sometimes hit hard more often because they may need it to grow. Like my triceps. Antek's abs. Arnold's calves(assuming they're not implants).

Antek, do you drink at all? About how much per week? You said you are fond of the nightlife, so I was wondering.

Also, how much do you smoke? If you are trying to put on some muscle, the nicotine may be holding you back-it speeds up your metabolism. However, if you quit you may put on some fat, so it's a tough call.

Hmm, I think he didn't surpassed Pitt's Physique... He is trained an all, no question that, but the thing about Pitt is, he is a perfectionist... He works his muscle to give him a perfect Statue, all of the proportions need to cooperate, thats why when you look at Pitt from any angle, you'll see that he has a "golden cut" of somekind, he's chest ist not to small nor to big, and his triceps doesn't surpass his posterior delt, it somehow slides in the perfect match... Well I am probably posting in the wrong forum "Wanna be big" but what the heck, my 2 cents ;) ... Pitt doesn't want to be motha****ing "Coleman" big, he want's to have that perfect "golden cut" of proportions... And you Anton should work on your chest, not that you ain't... but you should **** them up real hard, 100 press-ups should be there if already not... and aim for the upper chest muscle (Pec maj.- Clavicular) it gives you that "Suit of Armor look" ;) ... that "compact fighter" ... Ok my 2 cents are given... (btw. if you want to get really big like that guy you posted earlier in the thread, then forget the **** I said.. just forget it... I am not into massivnes, more into proportions... I preffere Martial Arts ... I hope I don't get ****ed for saying that inhere :whip: )

Now for the Question:
Well my body goal was Brad Pitt in FC too... I ****ing loved the movie, and the guy looked perfect, I tought damit, why not work on me too soo, here I am worked out for a year now and I am pleased with my results, till sommer I think I'll gain the same proportions in someway, I can't be Pitt, cause I ain't Pitt... :)

Eh yep the question, cause my membership in the Gym ran out, and I only have 2 dumbells in my apartment both 10 Kilo (yep european :) ) what is the best way to gain some masivity, in Lateral Delts, I want them big as in FC, you know the szene at the end where he sits on that ****, leaned back, and his deltoids pop up.. (I would post a picture, but don't know the script code img// sth. I suppose)... And cause you work home, like me, maybe you'll know a trick or two, like how much reps and sets you do? ... Help a friend Slav :alcoholic ...

I am (6.2 = 1.88m , 165.3 = 75 kilo ), if anyone cares...

Sasa, yeah man I totally agree with what you said. :)
hmm, the shoulder work.. i like to start with some stretching, then go for the barbell shoulder press, then behind the neck barbell press.
then i do a set of front dumbell raises and right after that without pause do the side dumbell raises. I do about 3-4 sets each excersize.

Cause I was wondering, I ain't Brad, but I also ain't ugly as the night dark ist, maybe i'll give it a shot and try me out, some money would be quite usefull now... and an advice from a guy that's by Boss would surely help, if you casted that is, if you got discovered.. Then damn, I am too ugly :bang:

I've done your routine, what weights do you use and how many reps?... i used pair of 10 kg dumbells, 4 sets... and they are hard to train with, when doing lateral-front raises... and impossible when doing bent, i had to put them on 7.5 ... for shoulder- front / behind back presses they were good, 4 x 20...

P.S. Still can't get it... you do 4 sets side raises and 4 set front raises, without a pause in one pack ??? ( crazy )

I do 10-12 front dumbell raises, then right after without a pause 10-12 side raises. that's one set.
I do 4 sets of those.

Just a bit of the update, I am now at 160-161lbs. 5'11. kinda bulked up a bit, here's a few pictures, let me know if you see any difference, I lost very few cuts, yet gained some noticable mass, or so the people I know tell me so.

Antek, dude I can see some serious progress here! Your chest is fuller & your shoulders are comin along nicely. Your arms look good. Your bisceps are definately bigger & your tris are looking good too. You are insanely lean! I would hate to see you at 180...!!! I see your lats are startin to come around. Good Job dude!

I know I critiqued you real good when you first posted, to give you some motivation. But know I really have nothing to critque you on. I dont see how 5-6 pounds has made that big of a difference, but it has. Hell, maybe you should be givin me advice now. Keep training dude! I wanna see you at 175 pounds. Eat like a Mo Fo & see if you can gain that much weight. I'm sure you're tryin, but ... lol.

Later Man,
Big J

Oh, & any ideas on how to get my body fat level that low???

I agree with Alleyrulz - you look especially big in that third picture down. And as Big J pointed out, your shoulders, arms, and chest all look fuller. Good work!

You just keep getting better and better. Let's see some more photos at 170+ with some flexed biceps.

yes I must say you are in excellent shape.. I'm not as cut as you but I have been working on it for a good while now.. hopefully in the next few months. (probably not..).. heh.. anyway, not trying to be offensive or anything but do you shave you're chest? I mean, I have hair on my chest and you sir seem to have none.. maybe it is just genetics but it was something I was wondering. Anyway, good luck with the modeling and keep up that physique!

Yeah I didn't really think 5 lbs would make that big of a differecne either, weird. When I get to 175 I'll stop. because I probably wouldn't wanna go any further. hmm, I actually stopped doing cardio, yet remained within my frame, so I don't know, I guess just eat right and drinks tons of water. I don't even know my body fat %.

I don't really look at carbs as much as protein and fat/sugar % and I don't count my calories either, I just know what's healthy and what's not, and i don't worry about an extra calories here or there. I eat a lot of rice (brown), potatoes, fruits, veggies, tuna and chicken, those are pretty much my fundimentals, not a big steak person.

Thanks,

We are the same height, but I am a bit heavier. Last time I was on a scale I was 190lb. Hopefully once I get down to 180ish I'll be more cut.
I used to be into the "heavy look", but I now prefer to look more average, but cut like you.
Here is a sample of my back.....it's so smooth compared to yours. I've got a lot of work ahead of me.

I took a picture of the body AND legs, so you would be able to tell how big/small the legs are compared to the rest of the body. If you post just legs you can never really tell whether they are symmetrical to the body or not.

That back snap is killer!!!!!

And your triceps rock!!

How fast do you do your lateral & front raises??? Do you jerk them up or do them smooth & slow?? I use the shoulder press machine, rear deltoid (reverse pec fly machine) and lateral raises.. Is this enough for cool round shoulders???

I was scouted by several agencies while working at the A|X in the city, but thought it was all bull****, so since being approached meant that i got something going i decided to try out for an agency i already know is legit, Boss Models was the first i went to, they told me to come back the next day to sign, but i never did, few months later i decided to check back with them see if they remember me, day later i was signed.
