View Full Version : Cardio on which days?

Just a quick question - couldn't find it on search - when should I do cardio with the Wanna Be Big Wieght Training Routine (the first one). Should I do it on the days I life or on off days?

Oh, also my cardio is 2-3 miles @ 50% of my max speed.

what is your goal with doing cardio? are you trying to lose weight? or gain weight?

I want to gain wieght but loose BF%.

just remember when trying to gain weight you'll gain some bf. Dont' be afraid of that. That's what cutts are for. You can limit it by doing some low intensity cardio, ex: treadmill walking immediately after weight training routine.

do it on days off

be careful with cardio as it can push you into a catabolic state, which isn't desirable.

I think I read somewhere that if you get your heartrate over 60% for 20 minutes you'll be in a catabolic state.
not sure how time/rate are related... but if you find more detail on this, please inform us!
