hi everyone
i am a newbie to this forum and i was wondering what people thought of baked beans.

i eat 2 to 4 cups of beaked beans a day coz i love em and they are a great source of carbs and protien and are low in fat.

according to www.fitday.com
baked beans (1cup) -
236 cals
1g fat
52g carbs
12g protien

was just wondering y not many people have mentioned them :fart:

baked beans are excellent! i love em. They're a good source of low GI carbs.

canned foods are high in sodium though, keep an eye on that.

The sauce tends to be pretty high in sugar also

I thought I had discovered the perfect food too untill I checked the sodium and carbs, that also happened when I thought soup was the best thing ever and found out the sodium levels were higher than mount kozciousco:eek:
