Im living like a pheasant for the moment and brown rice is not on my shelf so ive been eating beans and throwing tuna in them is this an exceptable source of carbs?

anyways....yes beans are good...high in fiber, with some vegetable protein.

you know i got a mental picture of those birds from the partridge family right?
anyways....one really good dish is tuna, white beans, and red oinion topped off with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

the best recipe for white beans I've tried so far is slow cook some steamed chicken breasts, white beans, salsa, and a little brown rice. They call it White Chili.

anyway im leaving for florida next friday and im going to cut carbs real low i guess so ill be having meals like chicken and greeen beans and spinach and beef

Beans are a good source of fibre as well as some vegetable proteins and also a low Gi source of carbs.I would rather eat them(taste wise) than rice anyway.
