How does one count calories when cooking with oil? I dont eat the oil but I do eat the chicken that was cooking with it and it may have absorbed some.

Good question. Personally I just count the calories of all of the oil I used (generally a tablespoon) but there's always some left in the pan. It may not be all that accurate but what else can you do?

I don't count the calories from oil, as I cook with a nonstick pan and barely use a drop...
I'd say your best bet is to estimate..

Use Pam. Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about salads. I use olive oil on my salads, but there is always some left in the bowl. I guess I could drink it!

Use extra virgin olive oil instead of vegetable oil.

cold pressed canola oil could substitute for olive oil if you need a milder flavor.
