View Full Version : I can't believe I'm doing this.

I'm one of those shy people who'd NEVER think of posting pictures of himself online.
Anyways, here goes. I'm 5'8", around 145 lbs. Just finished cutting, and plan to start my bulk on Monday if my wrist is feeling up to it. We'll start with a front lat picture:

One of my calves (they both look about the same, measuring about 14.5"):

A problem both Galileo and I suffer from. Our front delts blew up immediately, so it will take that much more work to get the biceps (~14" now) to catch up. :(

A rear lat spread. It was so hard to set up this shot right, and it's still way crooked.

And just because I'm in a fearless mood, here's my mug:

Here's one of my amazing 23" thighs:

you look like anthony edwards from revenge of the nerds :p
seriously, the cutting has done you well, you've got a good foundation to build on. Time to eat.
Bravo for posting pics. I know its not easy to do it, it took me awhile to do it the first time (oh that seems a long time ago...).
Anyways, I see you are bulking, because you definitely should be adding size right now. :) You got the pieces in place, now you just need to eat and add to it. I'm in the same boat. Good luck.

Congrats on posting pics. It is a bit nerve wracking. You look bigger than 145lbs but being 5'8" may play into that. I'd say you should be done cutting for a while and put on some mass. :)

Looking good Scott - keep at it man.

Good foundation to build on!

Good base man
Like everyone said, grats on posting your pics. Looks like you've got a great base, nice V taper starting. Bulk up a bit and you'll look great.. You already look bigger than your weight.

I'm 5'9 and you look bigger than 145lbs for sure. I don't see how someone who is 145lbs could have 14" arms and 23" legs, but hey, maybe everything else is just small. ;)
Welcome to the frightning world of pic posting :D
You are looking symetrical and solid for your size. Winter is a great time for a clean (ok semi-clean)bulk.

Thanks everybody! It's possible that my scale weighs light or something. I was kinda surprised at my back pics; getting a nice taper may not be too impossible. My only real complaint muscle-wise (other than the delts) is that my pecs have a squirrelly shape. But yeah, I can't wait to get some more mass going.

Very cool to finally put a face to the name!
I agree with the others that you look bigger than 145lbs, bigger in a good way of course:).

Keep at it and don't forget to post progress pics!

Heh... I've got a roll of pics of me @157 right before I started cutting. I should get those developed, if for no reason other than completeness.

Dude, get a camera with a timer on it. :)
Seriously, though, it's like impossible to flex your lats effectively without having both hands on your waist!
Congrats on posting the pics.

good job on getting the courage to post pics. I was very nervous when I posted my first ones. Pics are looking good. You look much heavier than 145.

Damn, 14" arms and 23" legs at 145. I've got 40lbs on you and I'm not that much bigger. :(
Ace work dude, those legs are looking big so keep going dude.

Hell of a set of nipples you got there scott.
