Currently I am on a bulk cycle. I have been wonder this for a while now. Does it matter the breakdown of meals ie c - p - f or cals in cals out? I am not saying I will have a 800 cal meal in one sitting. I do try to have 6 meals a day but my macros i know are not too balanced. I eat mas 50 grams of protien per meal and at the most 100 grams of carbs per meal.

I would try my best to balance things out at each meal, but there are certain times when you want more of one ratio over another (i.e. protein feeding before bed, simple carbs post workout etc.)

Overall, people on this board will recommend 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Anywhere from 15-25% of you're cals coming from EFA's, with the remainder of you're diet being filled in with complex carbs (except around training time).

Personally, I eat cleanly and count calories only. I have fiddled with ratios in the past, but didn't notice anything spectacular.
