how low are you trying to keep your carbs?

Going low carb is overrated, i noticed little difference between high/low carbs when cutting. Although hot dogs were an instrumental part of my diet and at only 20p a tin, my weeks eating was hella cheap.

Personally i feel low carb diets are better for one who is more heavily muscled, not sure why, just from the results ive seen of some of the guys in my gym.

Any balanced diet should work fine. It's when you start approaching the lower levels of leanness that I'd say you should resort to a cyclical/low-carb based diet like CKD/TKD/UD2.

Check out some of my older threads. I lost about 35 pounds on low carb after not losing with my balanced diet. I am back to balanced since low carb stopped, but it did help me out big time.
