I read in an article that when you eat to much protein your body can not digest all of it so it turns into gas. Is there any truth to this?

No. Well it's not because you can't digest it. It's a result of the digestion process itself.

Yeah, it's just one of the many sacrifices we make in our bodybuilding lifestyle. Protein farts are a small price to pay for the sake of bigger muscles.

I just started hitting the protein shake today, and I've got a bit of a rumble brewing down below. I might take some ginger root or something next time to help prevent it.

You also become more accustomed to it. And yes it's a biproduct of digestion, not that your body doesnt digest it.

Here's a tip: you can fart without smelling up a room. Fart into cushions. Don't move for a while afterward. The fart is absorbed into the cushion and released slowly at undetectable levels until its gone. This can take up to 5 minutes depending on how noxious the fart is. If you move around fresh air is drawn into the cushion and pushed pack out, taking fart gas along with it and blowing your cover. I call this the bellows effect so keep still! The cushion also absorbs some sound, but with good control you can keep them silent anyway.
