I was hanging out with some friends last night and got carried away and ate half a pizza which totally ruins my diet for the day. My last refeed was Christmas Day and according to this link http://www.theministryoffitness.com/mof/library/articles/article18.htm

I should refeed every five days.

So should I refeed or chalk it up as a bad day?

I already started to refeed but I'd like thoughts on this all the same. I will do a 24 hr refeed starting last night and then I will diet until next sunday night.

I don't know... it's a hard subject.

I think there are many variables such as:
-how low of a calorie deficiet you are in
-if your training is suffering
-how much BF% you already have, and how much you are trying to lose
etc.

Personally, I think if you are losing weight slow enough (.5-1 pound a week tops) and your performance in the gym hasn't suffered, I don't think there would be any need for a refeed.
