View Full Version : sorry Brawl, I have a rant

my rant is on drive thru ATM users.
it seems fairly self explanitory, drive through.
so it baffles me when someone pulls as far right as possible in the tiny little drive thru lane, and then get out of the car, and stand in front of the atm machine. the whole concept is to quickly get cash and go. but it makes it hard to get cash quickly when some jackass is standing there, then has to get back in their damn car, buckle up, play around with the stereo, and then go.
to top it all off, whats with people who balance their ****ing checkbooks in the car right afterwards?!??! can you not pull forward 20 feet, or into a parking space to do some quick simple math?? why must you sit there while i should be getting my money and going, and take up my time?!? ****ing go already!
ok, im done.

I did too, I saw one man get in his car, turn up the radio- then he started to write some numbers down on a piece of paper. An angered man, jumped out of the car behind him, smashed the glass and dragged the man out of the car- he then proceded to take his wallet and beat him to death with it, after this- he withdrew 200 dollars and was on his way. I think I heard "My Way" playing on his radio as he drove off....
Webb, I understand your situation, the problem is not that you have to wait anohter 5minutes, the problem is society as whole, we must mix love with everything we do, next time you sit there, think of Chevy Chase or maybe even Chris Farley, makes me smile.

I just don't understand drive throughs at all. Fast-food or ATM. Every morning friend use to go to Tim Hortons, there'd be a line up for the drive through of at least 20-30 cars.. you walk on the inside, and there'd be a lineup of top 1-2 people. People were just too damn lazy to get out of their car, so instead they'd wait longer to save them the 10 steps to the door.
That said, I think people are far too impatient as a whole. You get in a line up at a store, and you wait two minutes and you'll see people all frustrated because suddenly their in a rush and can't wait those whole 120 seconds. Those same people were walking around leisurely for the last hour shopping, taking their time checking out every isle.. Pretty sure they don't have any pressing matters to attend to.
Same thing with waiting the whole minute extra when someone gets out of their car at the ATM and balances the cheque book in front of you. Yeah, it's somewhat inconsiderate I'll give you, but I imagine it took no more then a minute for him to do it. Meanwhile, you were probably cursing and swearing behind him, and still ranting long enough later to get home and write this up It's a minute.
Rock is right.. Think of love or something.

Right on Webb . I usually respond now like " dont worry about everyone else OK? we arent waiting ."
I will voice my opinion when people are rude like that .
I was at the movies and the clerk asked " may I help who is next ? " the guy behind me steps up and starts to give his order . I said " Sorry bro I'm next "and I give my order . I wont even get into a discussion .

Last time that happened to me, I politely asked the man to move forward so that I could use the ATM.
Of course, that was after I had shoved his debit card up his rear and beaten his baby daughter to death with a chunk of asphalt.

Trent you need to come to the states for a holiday bro . Until I visited london and Holland ( Amsterdam, oh yea baby )I had a hard time understanding some opinions and way of life stories from you UK studs . Everything here is so wide open with all the space , cars are a must have thing , hence drive through ATM's . When I was over there because of the public transportation set up I really didnt even miss not having a car . All those damn bikes dude , holy crap . I never saw so many bikes at one time than I saw over there .
