I have Vitamin C, E and B complex and try to take them every day. I was wonderind if it is ok to pop all 3 pills in one go, or if I should spread it out during the day. Taking all 3 at one go is a lot more convenient than remembering to take them thoughout the day.

With the exception of my fish oil caps, I usually just take them all in the morning. You could just get a multi, too.

yup, I take the 1000mg vitamin C and 400IU Vitamin E, much more than the multivitamin provides.

Thanks for the replies.

usually every morning. But after a workout isn't a bad idea either.

Just whenever. I religiously take 1 multi and some fish oil every single day. I pop vitamin c 500mg pills throughout the day, 2 here, 2 there etc, I heard it's better to space it out with vitamin C, I could be wrong. I also sometimes take liquid b complex and vitamin E.

Yea some vitamins can have really negative effects if you take too much. Like excessive vitamin A, zinc, and niacin I think all have bad side effects. Those are the only ones I know of off the top of my head. If you take a multi and supplement with vitamin C you should be ok. Personally I think vitamin C is very important for people who lift. Ever notice how people who lift weights are always getting sick? It's because when you lift your muscles and stuff are repairing and while this happens your immune system isn't 100%, an open invitation to get sick.

I'm sure this is a really dumb question but... What do taking so much vitamin c and b do for you? I've been lifting for a long time just never got serious about the dieting/supplement side.

too much C gives me diarrhea, and too much B gives me neon urine.

-I take Biotin in the morning, Multi before bed with either zinc or c or e....I mix it up.

just a quick note that vitamins shouldn't be taken with high-fiber meals as the fiber can impede absorption of the nutrients. additionally, vit e and other fat-solubles should be taken with some fat to aid in their absorption. i take vit c 3 times a day as it is water-soluble and relatively short-lived, esp when you are active and sweaty.
