Does baking whey protein somehow "damage" (can't think of a better word right now, brain drain) it? I think I read somewhere that heating whey causes a reaction lowering the value of it (or something like that, I could be totally wrong). If it does hurt it, is there any protein that I can bake with without lowering the nutritional value?:D

I just read on www.nextproteins.com that cooking and freezing will damge the protein a little. You won't absorb as much.

think about it in terms of grilling a steak

when its raw you have nice looking red flesh
grill it and it changes doesn't it
you certainly cant digest the charred portions of flesh
but it tastes damn good and it still provides a hella good source of muscle...

dont sweat it, just dont burn it!

Good point doc.
Is it possible that whey might be a little more sensitive to heat than meat, eggs, fish etc.?
