For those of you doing board presses, do you warmup with the boards or do a full ROM?

You can do it either way. Personally, I always warm up to the chest, going up in triples to 315 to the chest, then moving on to the boards.

But you can also just do your warmups to the boards. Whatever works for you. I just like going all the way to the chest with the lighter weights. Makes me feel like I am getting a better warmup.

I decided to not use boards for my warmup. Today I paid extra attention to keeping my shoulder blades tight and my elbows in ... I feel it made a huge difference in my control. My decent was slower, but I felt stronger after the pause because everything was already tense.

I only use the boards at the later part of my warmup.
For ex. if i wanted to hit 300 on a 2 board i would do
barx10
95x5
135x5
185x3
225x1
275x1 boards
290x1 boards
300x1 boards

Whatever works.

I typically just use the bar for a couple of sets to the chest, then everything else is off boards. Works for me.
