Thanks for the link.

I'm still waiting for a Shut up and Curl shirt with a Stunta on it.

01-21-2004, 11:51 PM
There's no catch, we're just trying to get hardcore lifting posters put up all over the USA. Intense weight training has been discouraged in some commercial fitness facilities, so we printed up 5,000 heavy duty benching posters and we're gonna wallpaper the training halls. :soapbox:

We'll hook anyone up with the poster. But, if you live outside the USA, you'll have to pay the difference in shipping. We're shipping out 5,000 of these posters and we'd get slammed if we tried to pay for hundreds of international shipping charges. You can call 1(800)268-2248 and let them know that you'd like the free Joe Ladnier benchpress poster and they'll assist you with processing the shipping part of the order.

I sent an email requesting one yesterday. When should I expect it to arrive?

01-22-2004, 11:45 PM
We're gonna compile the emailed in addresses this weekend and then mail out the posters next week. So, I'd guess the week after next.

Sean, that number doesn't work from Canada. :(

The local number to the office is 1(509)534-4489. They said that they get a lot of calls from Canada, so that number should work just fine. Just tell them that you're calling in for the free Joe Ladnier benchpress poster and that you need to cover the shipping to Canada and they'll take care of that for you, thanks.

01-23-2004, 10:59 AM
Sean, maybe my office doesn't allow 800 numbers to go through ... I'll try when I get home. If not, I'll use the local number. Thanks!

01-23-2004, 02:38 PM
I called the local number and the nice lady is shipping it to Canada for free. Damn I'm charming. ;)

Thanks for the hook-up!

02-02-2004, 05:56 PM
Kingmetal, did you ask for the squatting poster? I didn't know they had one so I didn't ask! Maybe they'll send it to me anyway. :D

02-02-2004, 07:46 PM
I got my poster as well today, and it also came with two copies of the bench poster, and one squatting poster. Very very badass. BTW, I am located in mid IL

02-15-2004, 08:16 PM
We got a ton of requests for the free poster and the offer is still open. We're mailing out 50 or so per day and we'll keep on mailing them out until all 5,000 are distributed. We had a few squat posters in our warehouse, so we threw those in with some of the mailings.

02-16-2004, 01:02 AM
i hope i get a squat poster. those are my favorite

02-19-2004, 09:40 AM
Got mine! Sweet posters. I'll be subscribing to the mag too. Thanks!!!

got the posters(squat and bench), they kick ass.. ive never seen the mag but i will check one out soon..LT

02-19-2004, 10:21 PM
We had a stack of squat posters left, so we threw them in with a few of the bench poster mailings. We're still mailing out bench posters (more went out today), but we're outta the folded squat posters. (The unfolded posters have to be shipped in mailing tubes and that's really spendy!)

Monster Muscle kicks ass, period!

I think it is a great magazine at an even better value. Great content, not the porn crap most magazines are today. Most of what they talk about is not just specific to powerlifters, it is for anyone who wants to get bigger and stronger.

03-02-2004, 03:45 PM
i just got mine today, definitely gonna subscribe to monster muscle soon...sweet a$$ poster!! Proud to put it up in my little home gym... next time my non athletic friends come over and me and my buddies are training i'm gonna be like read the poster ho

03-09-2004, 11:35 PM

03-10-2004, 02:25 AM
Sent my addy. I didnt ask for a squat poster because I felt like enough of a mooch begging for a free bench poster.

03-10-2004, 06:03 AM
i got 2 bench posters the other day :)

03-27-2004, 12:59 AM
We've still got almost 1,000 of these posters left, so anyone interested is still welcome to email in their mailing info. :)

03-27-2004, 03:37 PM
I called two months ago, still no poster.

03-27-2004, 03:54 PM
Guess you're not as charming on the phone as you thought you were. (just kidding)

You were calling from Canada to see if they could mail you a poster free of charge, right? Just call again 1(509)534-4489 and they should be able to hook you up (they've got four phone lines ringing all day, and they're focused on orders/subscriptions, so I'm sure that it was just a slip and not on purpose.)

03-28-2004, 08:58 AM
Hahaha. I originally called with the intent of paying for shipping, but she offered to ship it for free. I'll call again today. Thanks. :)

I had sent them an e-mail asking if I could get the posters, paying the shipping (I'm from Canada), and they replied that they'd send a couple. That was like in mid february. I still haven't received anything and I sent an e-mail 2 weeks ago asking if they had shipped it and still got no reply...

04-07-2004, 06:27 PM
Anybody in Canada having trouble getting the poster (by just paying the shipping) please email me at

Include your name, mailing address and phone number and I'll look into it for ya asap. :)
