I'm a first time user and from what I've seen deca is good to start off with. Should I start with just this or stack? What would be a good stack/cycle?

I'm 6 foot 191 lbs....I've only been training for about 6 months, but I'd really like to see a better gain.

OK I can;t help you on the AS side but MORE info is definetely needed...
For these guys to help you tell them HOW you are training, WHAT you are eating etc...
Perhaps you can grow and avoid using AS right now or maybe it IS the time either way you need to answer these things. Don't think we are avoiding the question, more trying to collect the info needed to answer the question correctly..
Hope to hear from you soon :)

Speaking from experiance I would NOT touch a single MG of Deca at the moment. 6 months .... man you should still be growing by just looking at a pair of dumbells. Don't do it. Read ..... and when your eyes are sore ..... read some more ..... you need to learn what Steriod do ... and how they work.
For example ... some novices take Deca and don't eat and they wonder why they haven't gained any muscle. Deca increases protein synthesis ..... in otherword .... you don't eat ... you don't grow.
Get a good routine and diet together and you'll grow a hellavalot more then you would if you had drugs and a bad diet and routine.
Good luck.

Come ask the same question in 2-3 years.
For now, wander over to the training and diet forums, and start asking questions, and posting info about what you are doing now.
We'll make you need new clothes.

I have to agree with the guys here, but understand the frustration.
I have been training now for 3 years since having glandular fever...I may be ripped, I may be strong, but at 75kg (~180lb) and 6'2" I need to get another 10kg on - not much more for me.
I want to keep lean, but solid.
Hang around, learn....
My motto is research, research and more research.
The most important thing is to know what your goals are and what you are prepared to do to achieve them.
Training technique and diet is probably your worst enemy, unless you have a rocket metabolism like myself. Since you have been training for only 6 months, please don't take offence, you may find that you are over-training purely out of excitement and enthusiasm. Jump on to the training forum, it's awesome. I've been here a couple of days, reading heaps and learning heaps. This board has a lot to offer that others don't.
Hang in there....
