Im currently bulking and havent been counting calories or anything like that ive just been stuffing my face with watever i can. Its not as bad as it sounds because most of the food is actually fairly clean anyway. Ive been making sizeable strenght gains but also have developed a bit of a gut. Im not actually that worried about the gut if it means my strength/muscle is increasing, the thing is if i were to refine my diet and really cut out the bad food if i would continue to see the increasing strenght gains and energy levels and at the same time reduce how fast the gut grows.

I pretty much follow the same philosophy when bulking.

A lot of people on here will say to eat slightly over maintenance to minimize fat gain, which isn't a bad idea, but I prefer to go all out with a total disregard for fat gain.

Anyways, you should still see strength gains as long as you're still eating enough calories. Slow, clean bulking will reduce the rate at which your belly grows.

yeah had a feeling that would be the case, but im with you, id rather just eat anything and everything and get the big strength/size gains and have heaps of energy for the gym and jst worry bout the gut later.

It all depends on your goals. If your primary goal is to get bigger and stronger and getting lean is secondary, I say go all out.

I like to eat like mad on a bulk too, but I try to count it somewhat.

I used to be like you guys and bulk on everything in site. And while the fat gain wasn't terrible doing that I'm now seeing far better gains with much less fat increase eating clean. Try both ways before you decide.

im pretty new to the bulking/cutting but i would like behemoth said try both ways and see which way u like, i would personally prefer the slower bulk cuz i like to keep my cutness, but i have a friend who is on the anything you can eat bulk and he is significantly bigger also
