What are your thoughts on frozen vegies?
Do vegetables lose a significant amount of nutrients when thawed after being frozen?
Which vegies are ok frozen and which are not out of the following:
Brocolli
Asparagus
green beans
spinach
Spartacus

they are all fine frozen, and depends on how you thaw them. I heard nuking certain vegetables will show a diminish in certain nutrients but if you just leave them out or cook them up it should be fine I suppose.

cooking them is actually worse than freezing
cooking destroys enzymes and phytonutrients
lightly steaming and sauteing (sp) is ideal for veggies that aren't edible raw

Right, and also frozen vegetables are more reliable because they're frozen soon after their picked up. With fresh you never know if they were properly stored between the time they were collected untill they get to you. I eat a lot of frozen vegetables, probably like 2/3 of all my vegetable intake.
