heres my journal, im 20 years old male 6 foot and around 380 lbs. right now my goals, i cant really say a weight goal cuz i dont kno exactly how much i am so ill just go by measurements and shirt size that kinda of thing. my shirt size goal is to get to a size 3X shirt and like a 40 size pants(im 50-52 size righ now).

heres wha i did yesterday

2/20/04
DIET:
12:00pm (P/W SHAKE)
8 scoops simply protein
2 cups whole milk
175mcg synthroid( a lil late being 12pm should have taken it before gym)

4:00pm
roasted chicken w/skin(1 breast,2 thighs,2 drums)
2 bread rolls

8:00pm
8 scoops simply protein
2 cups whole milk
and a lil cheat i had was i got a handfull of captain crunch cereal before bed

total protein for da day was around 350g...carbs under 150g...and fat...id say under 100g

TRAINING:
barbell rows 135x10,185x8,225x6
wide pulldowns 120x8,150x8,150x6
dumbbell alternate curls 35x8,40x6,45x6
dumbbell shrugs 80x10
----------

MEASUREMENTS:
chest: 60.5"
arms: 21.5"(both arms)
abs(bell button): 61"
waist(under belly): 57"
calfs: 20.5" R/ 20"L

Geez, 380 pounds????? Good luck with the training, man. I'd say eat 5-6 meals per day, but I take it you're cutting calories, so what you are doing is good. Nice lifts, btw!

today went pretty good! no trainin today or walking but diet was real good

5:00pm
8 scoops protein powder

9:00pm(cookin right now)
12-16oz. cubed steak

:):):) feel real good also, no headaches or REAL cravings

NDBEAST: i would eat more times but i dont wanna eat to many times a day cuz ill b less likly to cheat if i only have 2 choose 3 or 4 meals rather den 6...and its workin real well for me eating large protein meals for sum reason

so so day... cheated once... did go to the gym this morning though

super size coke :(

and im about to eat tacos wit ground turkey.

TRAINING:
squats 135x10,135x10(my right knee was feelin weird again)
rev. wide pulldowns 100x10,130x10,170x6,170x6
bb bench press 135x10,185x8
military press 95x10,115x8




im still going bak and forth wit atkins or moderation :(

You should spread your meals out more. I'm sure your body probably isn't digesting 8 scoops of protein powder all at once. How many grams per scoop?

I would have to agree with heathj. It might help to add more whole food and veggies.

prumeman: i kno i should eat more real food, its just lik if i have 6 meals im gonna eat, normally 3 of them are ok and da rest i end up cheating...so i just thought well if i only had 3 meals maybe i wouldnt cheat...i dont kno it made sence at the time :/

wha i mean is if i said ok tomorrow im going to eat every 2 hours small protein meals...protein shake/steak/peanuts by the 2-3 meal id be cheating....but if i said ok tomorrow morning im going to have a big shake....den not worry about dieting and around lunch have a big steak... and befor bed have peanuts or sumthing....theres a bigger chance i wont end up cheating

dats it :/ crappy day

tomorrow training day..hopefully it will be better

You should add another meal or two in there. Maybe lower your protein intake a little and up your carbs...

And find a substitute for all the damn protein powder you are eating, and then spread out your protein throughout the day. Turkey, chicken, steak, tuna, etc...

8oz. chicken tenderloins and 3 red baked potatoes(small ones) cut up like fries

8oz. steak 1 can of baked beans

TRAINING
(wanted to also do back but it was still a lil sore)
bb shrugs 135x15,195x8 drop set 175x6 drop set 155x6
hammer curls 45x8,60x6 drop set 55x3,drop set 50x2
bb wrist curls 135x10,135x10

great day :):):)...but i tink i have a cold :(

Good...when I cut I spread meals out every 2-3 hours. If I don't eat small meals every 2-3 hours, I starve.

2 slices wheat bread,4 tbsp natty PB and sugarless jelly

had surgery on friday an have ben in bed since then.. ill be back postin in a couple days

most meals are pretty good but friday & saturday wasnt hungry to much. only cheat i had was yesterday ( 2 hotdogs & later ice cream) but the rest have ben chicken and potatoes or brown rice and ground turkey.

great day no training or cardio, was in bed most of the day

breakfast:
4 frozen waffles w/no sugar syrup and 2 cups skim milk

mid morning:
glucerna(diabetic drink) drink in a can

lunch:
2 turkey and cheese wheat bread sandwiches

snack:
another glucerna shake

dinner:
8oz. ground turkey and 1 bag success brown rice

its a lil early later on i might have a natural peanut butter and sugar free jelly sandwich before bed

back...sorry i ben out.... the surgery i had was circumsized (i kno i kno but i had 2) and i thought i was ok but i started 2 get some pain so ive ben in bed most of these days or to the doctor...today i went out all day and was ok so hopefully things stay ok.

didnt eat beakfast-

lunch:2 beef buritos(ugh i shouldnt have ate this)

dinner: 2 chicken pitas plain w/cheese

just now: natty PB sandwich and 2 cups of 2% milk


hopefully im plannin by next monday to be able to go to the gym again.
