View Full Version : Healthy Chips?

I know the title seems like an oxymoron, but I was wondering if there are any healthy chips to eat with salsa. I've heard that salsa is actually pretty good for you to eat, and I was wondering if there were any tortilla chips out there to eat with the salsa.

protein chips maybe? try a health food store and checkout their products if you're in that need of eating chips.
Tostitos makes an all-natural chip. I believe the only ingredients are corn and salt. And they taste really good too.

Pitta bread (optionally toasted) cut into strips goes well with dips, especially humus. Not sure how they'd be with salsa however. I'm sure you could find some with added soy flour for extra protein.

met-rx has come out with chips. they have like 42 grams of protein in a bag i think?? i just looked at one today when i was at the vitamin shoppe. i havent tried them yet. i might. the fat calories are like 90 and calories 170 or something. so still fatty but few carbs and lots of protein. i saw barbeque flavor and nacho.
