I am trying to cut. I am 6'-2" and 208. I am running 20 mins. int eh morning. the i eat 3 eggs whites and 1 hole egg @ 7, then a protein shake @ 10, salad for lunch @ 12, then another salad at 3, workout then another shake @ 6, the salad with chicken. also taking amino acid 3 times a day. Is this good or should i be doing more things or eating different things.

Doesn't sound like you've got much fat in there. I'd also avoid doing your running before eating unless you want to lose as much muscle as possible. Giving us the calories and macro breakdowns would help.

you only want to cut enough carbs out of the equation to lose weight slowly. the diet you have listed you will lose a LOT of muscle in conjuction with running. of course, you will lose a lot of weight too, but you want to find a good balance = dont go overboard with the cut.

I went overboard on my first cut myself, and I did get cut = check out my pic at 174 BUT I could have done it a whole lot better and held onlto a whole lot more muscle by cutting carbs more slowly and listening to my body more.

I took the liberty of punching in your listed diet at fitday:

and it comes out pretty good for the most part.

The only thing I dont like is the calorie count is REALLY LOW for someone your size. which brings me back to the first part of my post = you will lose a lot of muscle fast with that plan.

I would increase the calories and get the numbers up a bit and you will do great. You dont want to go too low too fast on the calories, and you can even get some serious headahces when you cut carbs too fast.

add some tuna sandwiches and a baked potatoes or a few yams in there and your set bro'

ditto you need to boost those calories, proteins and fats....
at your current diet running is just hurting your body...

how much should i be about. i burn 300 in morning and 416 in afternoon
