I was wondering if anybody has a suggestion for a healthy protein rich meal that i could take to work and eat for lunch. I am a Police officer and i work the grave yard shift. The only places to eat at that time is Mc Donalds and a Del taco. YUCK! Im trying to bulk up mass but lose a slight case of spare tire around the abdomen at the same time. :hump:

Have some tuna fish!!! Try the Starkist tuna creations. They're pretty tasty. I like the lemon pepper and hickory smoke. They will give you around 28 grams of protein since there is 2.5 servings per pack.

sounds like tuna the way to go. Im not the biggest fan of tuna, taste wise, but will eat it for the benefits.
Yea I have access to a fridge and microwave at the station.

For a snack I'll go to a gas station and pick up a small pack of nuts, string cheese and a pint of milk. It's a nice snack, not horribly fatty and it's around 28 grams of protein.
And it's usually no more than $2.25 to buy the three.

why not just bring tupperwear with meals in it and leave them at the station till its time for lunch?
I work a 9 hour day and I come to work with 3-4 tupperwear containers for my breaks
one has 2 cups oatmeal + 1tbsp honey
and 2-3 have 1 cup chicken + 1 cup pasta or rice

Canned fish, oatmeal with water in the microwave, cooked cold chicken/turkey with potato, rice, or pasta, meat sandwhiches, salads, fruits. There are many options.

Man just grab some donuts and then go pull someone over for speeding.
Nah just kidding. I'd suggest taking tuna and rice to work, awesome lean hectic stuff. Add some some sort of light flavour and you're cheering bud...dy. < said like stoney from encino man>.

****, I say make a pot of zatarains and add some chicken sausage, lean london broil or pork, and carry it around in tupperware and eat in the car.
Then eat it while you bust crooks, and while they're sitting in the back.

I'd install an over in the passenger seat, or tow a trailer home.
