There are to many companies to choose from (EAS,Musletech, etc) Does it realy make a difference which company to choose.

Provided you know the type of product you want - weight gainer or straight protein, and if the latter, whey, casein, a blend etc. - there is not a lot to differentiate between them. Whey is whey. So go for price.

Personally I think EAS is the best, I have used other supplements and they just seem to bloat me out, heh.

Hmmm, well, I think you should go with the company which supports this site, www.atlargenutrition.com .

Whey is not whey, protein is not protein. There ARE differences in products in terms of percentage protein per serving, mixability, and taste.

Not sure what the best company is. I have tried EAS and Iron-Tek and I would not recommend either. Iron-Tek mixes like crap, you need a blender or you have to chew it, and EAS mixes ok, not as good as say, Nestle Quick.

I would hope that someone would be able to choose a product that provided them with the requisite amount of protein for their particular needs so I did not consider that an issue. Mixability and taste are niceties.

I agree protein is not protein, for instance I'd choose as blend, such as oh I don't know, AtLarge's Nitrean (http://www.atlargenutrition.com/nutrition_detail.php/products_id/1) over straight whey.

If you go for the pice make sure that you work it out by price per serving because different compaines use different serving sizes. Also look for other things like i bought this great tasting strawberry whey protien. After taking it i got a huge headache and realized that it contained aspartame which gives me headaches. I did not look at the list of ingregdients but just the price..so...
